Westcrowns Contracting Services awarded Best Performing Business (26 – 250 employees)
Westcrowns Contracting Services were delighted to be nominated and to participate at the Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards Dinner & Ceremony 2008 on Friday 29th February. We came back with the main award of the event.
The glittering black tie event was hosted by the extremely enthusiastic Lorraine Kelly at Motherwell Concert Hall. The evening started with a Champagne reception, followed by a 3 course dinner and some good quality entertainment. WCS distinguished themselves firstly as one of their tables scored 20 out of 20 at the movie original sound track quiz and was presented with 2 bottles of Champagne… a good omen for the rest of night…
Such winning form continued with Bill McBride, Managing Director of Westcrowns Contracting Services Ltd, accepting the award for Best Performing Business (26 – 250 employees) from Lorraine Kelly and Pauline, representing the Award Sponsor Rolls Royce.
Liz Connolly, senior director operations, Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, said: “The volume and quality of this year’s finalists and winners is an illustration of the excellent strides that are being made in Lanarkshire to develop the area as an excellent location to do business.
